Nursery Consultation

Reydon Primary School Nursery Consultation Our Proposal The Active Learning Trust and Reydon Primary School are consulting on lowering the age range of the school and opening a nursery for 2–5-year-olds. The lower age range of the school is currently 3 years old, and this consultation is seeking views on lowering the age range to 2 years old. The Active Learning Trust has been working closely with Suffolk County Council to explore options to re-open the early years building on site at Reydon Primary School, previously known as ‘The Brambles’. The building has been empty for over a year and requires significant investment to bring it up to a suitable level for nursery provision, therefore the Trust are making a bid to the Department for Education’s (DfE) school based nursery capital grant to secure the funding necessary to update and maintain the building. We are seeking the views of the local community to understand the demand for places and the type of provision needed in the area.
